Have you bought a nice new home and don’t have any furniture to decorate it, well you are going to have to struggle and drag yourself out of the new house and go shopping, you poor creature having to do something so horrible and torturous. Oh come on get your wallet and crab you shopping shoes and plan to spend the whole day out shopping for your new home, it will be fun and if you do it right then you can even save some money, hahaha… Ok are you more likely to go a large furniture store or someplace special. Whichever it is kind of make a basic list of what you need, and the priority of what is the most important items that you will need; don’t forget you can always go back a second or third time if you don’t find what you are looking for the first day. Make that list because it is important to make sure you get what you need, like do you have a piano at home then you will need a piano stool to sit on if you do not already have one and you will need piano bench cushions to put on your stool and you can also store all of your music in.
Now maybe and beginning with light labor on a bedroom set focus on a nice bed with a headboard, a California king is an excellent choice to make that way you both have plenty of room to stretch out with no trouble; then you will need everything that goes on the bed of course, sometimes they complete with sheets pillows, sham and the bedspread. You will probably need a matching dresser or two, and that would depend on the quantity of garments that you both have that you don’t normally hang up on hangers, and a little night stands to go next to the bed is also important with a lamp.
Now for the living room which is important because everyone see this room as soon as they come into the house, so find a luxurious and comfortable couch they you just sink into, one with lots of style and then you will need a very nice coffee table; and probably a chair or two, you could make one of these chairs a recliner to kick back in.

Do throw rugs look nice in this room, articles that have emphasis the furniture and the table, they have some really nice rugs to choose from, and you might even get a second one for under the dining table; this would need to be a little different style since it is in the eating area, it would need to be able to clean easily.
Shopping for the home can be very fun, but it can also be very costly so unless money is of no object then watching your budget is very important, don’t run that credit card up to high; remember you have a new house payment to make to put all of this nice furniture in.
